ÌÇÐÄVlog

The Center for Urban Education (CUE) works collaboratively with ÌÇÐÄVlog Denver’s Department of Admissions and Outreach and with initiatives and programs across the campus that are focused on serving urban students and their families. ÌÇÐÄVlog Denver faculty design and teach classes in our after-school and 9^th grade summer camp programs, and ÌÇÐÄVlog Denver students serve as paid tutors, mentors and teaching assistants.

CUE has benefited from the support of affiliate/tenure faculty from the following ÌÇÐÄVlog Denver programs and departments: Anthropology, Center for Visual Arts, Computer Science, Chicana/o Studies, Criminal Justice, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, Economics, Education, Engineering Technology, English, Learning Communities and First-Year Success, Mathematics, Nursing, Nutrition, Philosophy, Psychology, and Theatre.

CUE also works to leverage resources through partnerships with complementary ÌÇÐÄVlog Denver initiatives:

In partnership with Denver Public Schools, CUE makes summer tutoring programs available to students throughout the district and provides a rich array of after-school activities and learning opportunities at three middle and high schools, through the 21^st Century College Readiness Center.
