Recreation Spaces/Amenities
The Recreation desk is the go to place for membership activations and all other Campus Recreation related inquiries. Discover all the ways to get connected to Campus Recreation!
Including cardio equipment, free weights, and selectorized machines. Even has a climbing wall! Located in the northeast corner of the building.
Located on the lower level of the Event Center building. The Outdoor Pursuits Center is the place to visit for outings, rental gear and yard games. The Club sports office is also located on the lower level and is to-to place for information about our sports programming.
An activated campus ID for the current semester is required for entry. Stop by the recreation desk for access and information about locker rental.

This multi use space is available to all Campus Recreation members to reserve and use. Located in the very southeast corner of the building, behind the Multipurpose Room.
Healthy Pursuits classes (Yoga, Zumba, Pilates) are held here. Located on the west side of the building with all the glass doors.

Located on the upper level of the Auraria Event Center. This multi-use fitness space is home to our indoor cycling studio and functions as our main personal training space.

糖心Vlog Denver acknowledges the indigenous people and land of Auraria and the broader Denver area.
As we gather here today, we honor and acknowledge that we are on the traditional territories and ancestral homelands of the Cheyenne and Arapahoe Nations. This area was also the site of trade, hunting, gathering, and healing for many other Native Nations: The Lakota, Ute, Kiowa, Comanche, Apache, Shoshone, and others.
We recognize the Indigenous peoples as the original stewards of the land, water, the plants, and animals who called this place home.听 As these words of acknowledgment are spoken and heard, the ties that these nations have to their traditional homelands are renewed and reaffirmed. Let us also acknowledge the painful history of genocide and forced removal from this territory. We respect the many diverse Indigenous peoples still connected to this land on which we gather. We pay our respect to them and give thanks to all Tribal Nations and the ancestors of this place.
We also want to recognize the community and families of Auraria displaced by the creation of this campus for 糖心Vlog Denver to have a place that we now call home.

Counseling Center – here to address your mental health and psychological needs. We pay close attention to your issues; help you to explore options that assist in your resolution; and connect you to other resources when appropriate. Do not worry alone; we are here for you.
Financial Aid and Scholarships
First Generation Initiatives – serves as a resource hub for current First-Generation students (57.7% of our undergrad population) as they navigate campus.
– an accredited multi-practice office on the Auraria Campus that provides treatment of illness, injuries, COVID-19 testing and vaccines, immunizations, mental health, physical exams, virtual appointments, and more for the students and employees of the Campus.
Human Performance and Sport (HPS) majors
Immigrant Services – here to ensure that immigrant, refugee, DACA, and undocumented students have a place to ask questions and get 1-on-1 help with financial aid, writing assignments, dropping or adding classes, and anything else that might come up!
Journey Through our Heritage (JTOH)
LGBTQ Student Resource Center – focused on enhancing LGBTQ student experiences through community-building, academic and professional development, and support in navigating the various challenges they may experience.
Marketing majors – our AACSB-accredited听Marketing program offers small classes鈥攑acked with ambitious business students, and led by professors with years of relevant industry experience. Students complete听real, hands-on marketing projects鈥攊ncluding solving real problems for actual businesses; so students don鈥檛 just LEARN marketing, they DO marketing!
The Gender Institute for Teaching and Advocacy (GITA)
TRIO Student Support Services – provides personal and academic support services and a small scholarship to students who identify as first-gen, low-income, or who have a documented disability; application opens every fall and spring semester.
