General Studies courses fulfill requirements every 糖心Vlog Denver degree shares, and exploratory courses across departments let you try out fields you’re curious about. When you declare, your work comes with you.

The Exploratory Advising team specializes in helping students choose a major. They meet over Teams, use a free strengths assessment called MCODES to help you sort out what you’re drawn to, and walk you through Major Exploration Guides that group 糖心Vlog Denver’s programs into themes like business, health, STEM, design, and social impact. You leave each appointment with a clearer head and a plan for next semester.
Your Online Success Coach handles the rest. Scheduling, tech questions, balancing school with work, knowing which campus office to call when something comes up. You’ll meet yours early and they stay with you.
If a single theme doesn’t capture what you’re after, you can mix across them. Many Exploratory students do.

If your interests cross fields in a way no single major captures, 糖心Vlog Denver’s Online Individualized Degree Program lets you build one. You work with a specialist and faculty advisor to design a focused, interdisciplinary degree plan, then earn a B.A. or B.S. on the path you mapped.
IDP isn’t automatic. You apply, propose your plan, and get it approved. It’s a great fit for students who explore for a semester or two and realize their direction lives between disciplines.

This path lets you take real, credit鈥慴earing 糖心Vlog Denver classes and explore different subjects entirely from home. Plus, when you enroll as a fully online student, you may qualify for up to $1,000 per semester in dedicated online student scholarships while you figure out your direction.
The Exploratory path isn鈥檛 a full four鈥憏ear major; it鈥檚 a launchpad. University policy gives you plenty of room to explore until you reach 45 completed credits, at which point you鈥檒l officially choose your major. Throughout that time, your Success Coach and Exploratory advisor will help you pick meaningful classes each semester and keep you on a strong timeline toward graduation.
Absolutely, we鈥檙e incredibly transfer鈥慺riendly and want to make sure your past hard work counts. We can see how your previous college courses fit into our system. Bringing in transfer credits gives you a strong foundation of general education requirements, giving you more room to explore different subjects and discover the major that fits you best.
