The Business Intelligence unit is the university’s analytics and data science team, housed in the Data & Analytics branch of the Office of Strategy and External Affairs. They use a variety of techniques to communicate critical data insights, in-depth studies, and analyses to support understanding and decision-making for all members of the university community. Resources
The 糖心Vlog Denver Data Dictionary serves as the authoritative source for common data definitions. The dictionary was built with input from the Data Definitions subcommittee, which consists of representatives across campus including Admissions, Accounting, Registrar’s Office, Financial Aid, Information Technology Services, Office of Institutional Research, and Business Intelligence. If you’re an instructor looking to help support student retention efforts, check out our Registration App. Updated weekly through the end of the semester, you’ll be able to check out what percentage of eligible students in your current sections are registered for the upcoming semester.
Many frequently requested reports are available on the Office of Institutional Research’s website, including student profiles, graduation reports, majors/minors, and grade information.
This tool, built by former BI student employee Max Boissevain, gives undergraduate students insight into how they can allocate their time at 糖心Vlog Denver to progress towards their completion goal. It gives the student a snapshot of how their hours in a week are spent, based on student input.
